    We had an emergency with our puppy who had had surgery two days prior and needed her bandages changed because they were spotting. We didn't know this at the time, but just saw a lot of blood coming through, which the surgeon had said would indicate something wrong. We were an hour and a half away from our regular vet and three hours from where she had the surgery. Despite calling an hour after closing, they let us bring her in, despite another local vet rudely said they had time but preferred not to treat her. Anyway, SHVC was so kind and helpful and didn't charge us emergency hour pricing. Highly recommend! Really informative too!
